For years, the republican DuPage County Board has boasted that
property taxes have not been raised with the indication they have been fiscally
responsible. The truth is the county has
used funds from RTA taxes and Coroner departments to balance the County budget.
Now they have added questions on the
ballot that need to be better understood.
Liz Chaplin is the only democrat on the Board, and she continues
to challenge the Finance Committee on their lack of transparency and playing a
