Voter Registration Workshop – a Success

The Voter Registration
Committee of the DGTDO ran a Voter Registration Workshop on the 29th of
August 2018 which was attended by thirteen current and future Voter Registrars.
The workshop objective was to share good practices and develop knowledge and
understanding of the skills needed to be a successful Voter Registrar. The
workshop provided an overview of voter registration rules and regulations as
well as hands-on training. A role-play exercise helped participants explore the
challenges they might experience while registering voters and how they can face
them. The workshop also provided the participants with a platform to share
their ideas on how to become a successful Voter Registrar. The participants’
feedback on the workshop was positive.
